Federal Medical College, Islamabad was established through an Act of Parliament on 21st March 2013.
The Federal Medical College is affiliated Medical College of Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University. The attached teaching hospitals are the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (the largest tertiary care hospital in the capital) and the Federal General Hospital. We have successfully standardized the curricula and brought uniformity in the quality of healthcare education.
